Delta Zeta was nationally founded on October 24, 1902 by six women at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. The Kappa Rho chapter came to Kutztown on April 29, 1972.

Women of Delta Zeta share a common purpose to create true and lasting friendships, encourage one another in the pursuit of knowledge, promote values-based living and embrace social responsibility.
